Story
One day, there is a huge rink opening that says grand opening on the top and Mario and gang see a tournament going on so they all sign up for it and get into teams. It will show the intro and will show them playing and stuff like that, like in Super Mario Strikers...
Controls
A: Pass, hold A to go faster (without puck)
B: Shoot (the longer you hold the B button the more powerfully you shoot), hit players (without puck)
X: Hold to use your Special (it takes a long time to do, but don't get hit by anyone and you can get one or two goals)
Y: Switch to a different player
Z: Look at game stats
Start/Pause: Go to menu during the Hockey game

Your team can include any characters you choose. Each one is rated on three stats:
Power: You can shoot the puck harder and easier, and hit people more harder as well
Speed: You can move really fast
Endurance: Getting hit a lot can get your one of your players tired, so to last longer you need Endurance.

Rinks
* means unlockable
Mario's Rink: A plain and normal rink, nothing to it.
Luigi's Rink: A another simple rink, once a period, a bob-omb hits the winning team. If tied game, it hits half of the players on both teams.
Peach's Grand Rink: A big rink full of Toad's. The referee’s clumsy here, so you may bump into them. The ice is also sliperpy, making it fast.
Daisy's Outside Rink: Daisy's rink is outside, Mr. Blizzard can come and throw snowballs, slowing your character down.
Yoshi's Island Rink: This rink is on Yoshi's Island, some of the time, eggs will roll around the rink.
Wario's Casino Rink: Slot machines, poker, and more is being played here, Bob-omb's hit the rink regularly.
Waluigi's Pinball Rink: A rink in a pinball machine. During the match, a pinball can hit your character. This place increases speed.
*Larry's Planted Ice: Piranha Plants as far as the eye can see. Go too close to the walls and you might get a bite.
*Morton's Desert Rink: The winds blowing and the ice is... melting. This place decreases your speed.
*Wendy's Water Rink: This place is bad for speed, fall of the ice and you land in ice water! Brrrr! It takes 20 seconds for you to get make on the ice if you fall off.
*Iggy's Crazy Ice: The ice's speed changes all the time. The advantage goes to the people with high speed!
*Roy's Gym Rink: This place is nice to play sports, this place somehow, increases your Power.
*Lemmy's Ice Land: The best rink in the whole game! Too bad it's unlockable, it has a nice ice, the speed is high here.
*Ludwig's Pipe Ice: Pipes are all around this ice. The winning team gets one of there players taken away for 1 minute each period. If tied, one person from each team gets taken away.
*Bowser's Lava Rink: When playing here, fireballs will go across the course. Get hit and you’ll be trying to get the fire out for 5 seconds.
*Boo's Haunted Ice: It seems to be a haunted rink. Anyway, when you’re playing on the ice, Boos come out and can get in your way. Even Dry Bones come out sometimes and throw bones at you, dazing you for 5 seconds.
*Super Koopa Rink: The best ice in the game... well it's tied with Lemmy's. Nice ice... nice speed...nice everything!
Items

Mushroom: Makes you go faster.
Poison Mushroom: Decreases your speed.
Gold Mushroom: Makes you go 2X faster then the normal mushroom.
Green Shell: Hits one of the players on the other team.(Goes staright)
3x Green Shells: Hits three players on the other team.(Goes staright)
Red Shell: Hits one of the players on the other team. It's faster than the Green Shell.(Goes to the closest opponent)
3x Red Shells: Hits three players on the other team. It's faster than the Green Shell. (Goes to the three closest opponents)
Fire Flower: Three little fireballs go and if your opponents get hit, makes them run around trying to get the fire out for 10 seconds. (Goes straight)
Star: Makes you invincible for 10 seconds.
*Boo's Cape: Makes you invincible for 7 seconds.
Chain Chomp: Hits all of the other team (except Goalie) no matter what. Dazes them for 5 seconds.
Banana Peel: If only one hits it, they slip.
Super Mushroom: Makes you big for 10 seconds. It's different from the Dried Mushroom, because it's a light color.
Dried Mushroom: Makes you tiny for 10 seconds. It's different from the Super Mushroom, because it's a dark color.
Golden Shell: Boosts all of your stats by one.
Ice Shell: Freezes any opponent that gets hit by it for 10 seconds.
Bob-omb: Knock some of your opponents out, if hit they are dazed for 3 seconds.
Big Bob-omb: Hit's almost all of your opponents, sometimes all of them. Dazes them for 5 seconds.

Road to the Ice Cup
Cups: Cups are done in tournament style, there are four rinks in each cup. Plus, once you pick your 5 member's on the team, you have to stay with that team until your done of all the cups.
Mushroom Cup: The Mushroom Cup is a piece of cake. It helps the new people playing the game as well.

Daisy's Outside Rink: Semi-finals
Larry's Planted Ice: Finals
Fire Flower Cup: It's a little harder then the First cup. It's about medium. This is for so-so players.
Luigi's Rink: First Round

Waluigi's Pinball Rink: Semi-finals
Iggy's Crazy Ice: Finals
Star Cup: This Cup is the hardest so far, this is for experienced players.

Ice Cup: The hardest of all the cups! This is for experts!

World Tour: After you’ve done all the cups, you can play all of them. You will just have to play random teams, and the rinks go in a random order, except for the first and final rinks.

Mario's Hockey Minigames
Yes, you can play minigames! Plus, you can get awards for them. Here are the minigames... and there are modes: Easy, Meduim, Hard, Very Hard.
Bowser's Robot: Bowser will have a big huge robot, when he opens his mouth, you got to shoot the puck in his mouth. You play this at Bowser's Lava Rink. Only 1 player can play this game.
Mario's Speedy Coin Chase: You play this at Iggy's Crazy Ice. You must collect the most coins. 4 Players can play this game.
Goalie Practice: You get to be the Goalie in this one, just don't let any of them get past you. 4 Players can play, 3 as the shooters and 1 as the Goalie. This is played at Mario's Rink.
Machines Shoot: A machine will shoot pucks at you and you have to hit it as far and as hard as you can. Good practice for people who need help with their shooting. It's a 4-player game, each one takes turns and see who can get the farthest distance. It's played at Daisy's Outside Rink.

It's sudden death! What you got to do is just get a goal! Don't let Waluigi get a goal, or you lose.
Three Shots, and You’re Out
Difficulty: Novice
Character: Luigi
Opponent: Mario
Rink: Luigi's Rink
Instead of doing that sudden death, you have three chances to score a goal! Whoever gets the most goals wins. Don't let Mario get more goals than you!
Family Showdown
Difficulty: Normal
Character: Any Koopaling
Opponent: Bowser
Rink: Bowser's Lava Rink
An all-out match! First one to score 5 points wins!
Opposite Rivals 2
Difficulty: Normal
Character: Wario with Toad
Opponent: Luigi with Boo
Rink: Wario's Casino Rink
Mario's rival Wario Vs. Waluigi's rival, Luigi! Things are a little different this time, you both have a player on your team and it's sudden death again! Get that point!
2 Minutes Left for Revenge
Difficulty: Hard
Character: Iggy
Opponent: Roy
Rink: Roy's Gym Rink
Iggy’s got a chance to get revenge on Roy for all of those beatings, and it's 0-0 with two minutes left in the third period! Get the goal before Roy does and don't let time run out!
Battle of the Princesses
Difficulty: Hard
Character: Peach
Opponent: Daisy
Rink: Daisy's Outside Rink
The battle of the two princesses! Which is the better one? It's 3-2 for Daisy and you’ve got 2 minutes left! Try and use you special to win the game!
Unmatched Pairs
Difficulty: Expert
Character: Mario and Wario
Opponent: Luigi and Waluigi
Rink: Waluigi's Pinball Rink
These two hate each other, but in order to win, they’re going to have to work as a team. Last period, and 1-0 for you. Keep the score, and don't let Luigi and Waluigi get more points than you!
A Brotherly Fight
Difficulty: Expert
Character: Lemmy
Opponent: Ludwig with Larry
Rink: Ludwig's Pipe Rink
These brothers are going to decide their fight with hockey! It's sudden death! Get a goal to win! But it won't be easy though, Ludwig has Larry on his side!
