This is to be the biggest, best, most fun Mario Kart game ever! For those who’re attached to many characters, I’ve included some obscure one-timers for all of you, even Flint Cragley, whom I hate very much.
Those things that are unlockable will be in italics.

Red Fire: Same as in Double Dash.
B-Dasher: Same as in MKDS.
Barrel: Driver stands on a barrel and walks backwards to roll it forward.
Metal Fire: A metal version of Red/Green Fire.
Vitamin Kart: A kart shaped like a vitamin. Yoshiback 3000: A kart that resembles Yoshi’s back, complete with a Yoshi head.
Green Fire: Same as in Double Dash.
Poltergust 4000: Same as in Mario Kart DS.
Green Thunder: A black kart with green lightning painted on with a backwards L on the front.
Mini Brobot: A miniature Brobot. The driver goes in the cockpit like Mr. L did. Stork: You ride on the stork.
Princess Pulverizer: Peach’s tougher-to-beat-than-it-looks kart with a heart theme.
Royale: Same as in MKDS.

Power Flower: Same as in MKDS.
Mushroom Racer: A kart with a picture of all kinds of Mushrooms on it.
Mushmellow: Same as in MKDS.

Poochy: The loveable, nose-less dog from Yoshi’s games.
Bow 1: A pink-spotted version of the Egg 1 with a bow.
Wario Car: Same as in Double Dash.

Motorbike: Wario’s motorbike from the WarioWare series.
Waluigi Racer: Same as in Double Dash.

Bowser Shell: A kart resembling Bowser’s shell. Tyrant: Same from MKDS.
Clown Copter: Bowser’s trusty transportation device.
Mini Cruiser: A miniature Koopa Cruiser. Koopa Prince: A Bowser Jr. version of Koopa King.
Jr. Shell: A smaller version of the Bowser Shell
Bullet Basher: Same as in Double Dash.
Airship: A mini version of the airships from Mario Galaxy. Rambi: The rhino from Donkey Kong’s games.
Rambi Rider: From MKDS. Why have the rhino and his kart likeness? Why not?
Hoofer: The goat or whatever from Donkey Kong Jungle Beat.
Mine Cart: A DK classic. Not very advanced, but pretty good for the basic karters.
Barrel Train: Same from MKDD.Barrel Jetpack: You wear it and fly around instead of driving!
Super Poltergust 3001: E. Gadd’s riding vacuum.
Piranha Pipes: Same as in Double Dash.
Big Boo: You literally ride atop a big boo.
Kart Bleck: A black and sinister kart with the Chaos Heart drawn on it.
Office Racer: A very precise and office-y kart.
Dementer: A purple and yellow kart with clown themes.
O’ Chunker: A very simple Scottish-themed kart.
Spider Walker: You ride a clone of Mimi’s spider form. Wisdom Kart: It has Shine Sprites and prophecy books painted on. The front’s pointy and spins.
Pixl Power: A Pixl-themed kart with pictures of Pixls on it.
Star Shell: The Star Spirits’ shell from Paper Mario.
Thousand-Year Kart: A kart with pictures of the Thousand-Year Door and the Crystal Stars.
Meowkart: A kart modeled after the meowbots in Fort Francis.
Spaceship: This is the spaceship Squirps was in when he was giving the SOS signal.
Cragmobile: A stone kart with Flint Cragley ads on the sides and back.
100-Dueler: A Japanese-style kart with images of the three kinds of Sammer Guy on it.
Overkart: A fluffy and cloudy kart with pictures of the 8th Pure Heart, Jaydes, and Grambi.
Shadow Kart: A shadowy version of Red Fire.
Comet Kart: A comet on wheels.
Star Ship: The ship that the Luma was in is now ready for racing.
Star Roller: The big capsules that Mario rolls around on in Galaxy. Ray: The manta from Super Mario Galaxy.
Quickshell: A big, green shell that’s quick enough to replace a kart.
Piantissimator: An Il Piantissimo-themed kart.
Scary Speed Demon: A Spooky Speedster-themed kart.
Nimbus Land Bus: The bus from SMRPG.
Geno Kart: A kart with a Geno theme.
MUSTARDOFDOOM: A robotic kart built by Fawful.
Finkrat: A simple, square, red and green kart. The Chronicler: A news show/newspaper-themed kart.
Super Throne: Princess Shroob’s throne.
Mini Mother: Mini Shroob mothership
X-Terminator: An X-Naut themed kart with the X-Naut symbol on the front.
Sirens 3: A Shadow Siren-themed kart.
Kitchen Catcher: A kitchen-themed kart.
Wind-Up Car: A toy car with a wind-up key.
Bean Wagon: A big bean on wheels, basically.
Banana Kart: Same as the Bean Wagon, but as a banana.
Paratroopa Shell XL: You’re riding on a huge Paratroopa shell.
Banisher: That Dry Bones kart from MKDS.
Dark Banisher: A Dark Bones equivalent to the Banisher.
Magikoopa Broom: You ride on a Magikoopa broom.
Pogostick: That’s right! You move around on a pogostick. Toy Tank: General Guy’s bad boy. It’s pretty balanced.
Lakitu Cloud: A Lakitu cloud. Default car for Lakitu.
Giant Klaptrap: A giant Klaptrap. Shroob UFO: A Shroob UFO.
Blooper Racer: Despite not being in the water, you can use Bloopers to race.
Wii-Mote Kart: You ride inside a giant Wii-Mote with an attached Nunchuk tailing you.
Parade Kart: Same as in Double Dash.
(*Likely not the name of the kart in Mario Kart Wii’s game.)
Tracks and Boss Courses
At the end of cups is a boss course where you usually have to race against someone and decrease their HP bar. If you’re that character, you’ll use an alternate costume. The boss courses can be played freely in multiplayer.
Fire Cup:
Mario Bros. House: A simple track around Mario’s place.
Mario Toy Company: Go through this factory and watch out for obstacles.
Super Mini Mario World: This toy theme park is dangerous. Watch out for Toy Kongs.
Mushroom Kingdom: A basic race through the MK. Watch out for generic enemies and pipes.
World One: Race through SMB’s 1-1.
Boss Course-Rainbow Ride: Race through a wonderland of oddities against Bowser.
Thunder Cup:
Luigi’s Mansion: This place is full of ghosts, so beware.
E. Gadd’s Lab: This high-tech place is dangerous, ‘cause SOMEONE’S too scatterbrained.
Luigi Circuit: It’s back.
Luigi’s Dream Mansion: The A-Rank, ghost-free mansion.
Waffle Kingdom: That place mentioned in Paper Mario 2! Beware of the native dangers.
Boss Course-Luigi’s Mind: This green, open space is filled with Luigi’s thoughts and fears and stuff. Race against Dimentio and defeat him.
Heart Cup:
Peach’s Castle: Race through and around Peach’s Castle.
Vibe Island: Vibe Island’s been made into a track, all right. Watch for emotional minions.
Peach’s Plane: This track goes through the plane, onto some clouds, on the plane’s top, and back inside. You’ve got to race against Mimi and win.
Daisy Cruiser: Same from MKDD.
Daisy’s Castle: Race through Daisy’s Castle.
Boss Course-Sarasaland: Save Daisy from Shroob as you race through the four lands in Sarasaland. There’s 3 Shroobs, and if one goes down, Daisy goes to another.
Mushroom Cup:
Toad Town: Pedestrians and houses are the main obstacles here.
Mushroom City: Same as in MKDD.
Mushroom Bridge: Same as in MKDD.
Hollijolli Village: This frigid fracas will leave you frozen.
Toadwood Forest: Trees, Piranha Plants, and other random minions get in your way here.
Boss Course-Lil’ Fungi Town: In this sky-high village, you have to defeat Bowser but keep Toad and Toadette alive.
Egg Cup:
Yoshi’s Island: This happy island is divided into four parts, one for each season.
Racetrack: The Yo’ster Island racetrack has been updated.
Subcon: This dream world’s full of pipes, Pidgets, and Phantos. Oh my!
Dinosaur Land: Yes, you have to go throughout all of Dinosaur Land. But there’re only 2 laps!
Yoshi’s Story: Yoshi’s Island as a storybook.
Boss Course-Castle: A course representing a generic fortress or castle from the Yoshi’s Island games. Race against 7 Shy Guys and defeat them to free the Star Children.
Wario Bros. Cup:
Wario’s Palace: Chain Chomps and golden statues will make this race crazy.
Diamond City: Pity the souls racing here. Oh wait, you’re one of them!
Waluigi’s Island: Why are you racing here? It’s a big hazard! Your funeral.
The Stadium: A mix of both Wario and Waluigi’s stadiums from MKDD.
WarioWare Inc: Race through Wario’s factory. Watch out for his workers.
Boss Course-Sea of Garlic: A bridge maze with giant garlic clovers floating in the water. In three laps, try to shoot down more sea things with fireballs than Wario.
Koopa Cup:
Bowser’s Castle: Bowser has redone his castle course yet again.
Doomship: What do you think?
Dark Land: This lethal land is raced through, now featuring the volcanic meteors.
Tower: You must race down the tower, where you’ll find your way back up.
Dark World: Race through this place from SM64.
Boss Course-The Sky: Again, this track is from SM64. You have Peach hostage. If you’re hit, you lose Peach. You have to get her back before time expires.
Bongo Cup:
DK Jungle: It’s back again and about time, too. But it’s more DK-ish than previous Kart games.
DK Isle: The Island from DK64 is now a track. Watch for beavers.
Mine Cart Malice: A mad race through some mines. Beware TNT and Kremlings.
Vicious Volcano: Would it be a DK theme without a volcano at least once? Didn’t think so.
Construction Site: Yep! It’s back from the original Donkey Kong as a track!
Boss Course-Banana Temple: Race through this temple and let Donkey Kong get first place. But you absolutely must get second place. Other than you and DK, there are 3 random racers.
Sunshine Cup:
Delfino Plaza: Let’s take a drive through town… Just don’t run into anything.
Pinna Park: Race through all the chaos of Pinna Park.
Sunshine Sea: A racetrack built on the sea near Isle Delfino.
Pianta Village: Race around the perimeter of Pianta Village.
Hotel Delfino: Race through Hotel Delfino.
Boss Course-Corona Mountain: Race against Bowser throughout the volcano and drop his HP meter to zero. Watch out for lava, Podoboos, and other things like that.
Dimension Cup:
Fort Francis: Francis’s Kitty Castle has been made into a course.
Whoa Zone: This space maze is awfully confusing. It has Pigarithms and Barribads causing havoc.
Land of the Cragnons: The whole shebang from SPM. The hazards are what you’d expect.
Sammer’s Kingdom: A rousing race through this place. Watch out for the Sammers.
Aftergames: Avoid ice and Underhands inthis mad dash through the Aftergames.
Boss Course: Race against Count Bleck and all his minions throughout the castle. You must defeat Bleck and Dimentio to win, but Nastasia, Mimi, O’ Chunks, and Luigi (in the Mr. L alternate suit) will get in the way.
Foreign Cup:
Beanbean Fields: This wild, open area is filled with native creatures to cause trouble.
Joke’s End: Beware of soup spills, edges, and the slipperier parts of the ground.
Beanbean Castle: A track through the town, castle, and sewer system.
Shroob Castle: A Shroobified version of the Peach’s Castle track.
Previous Yoshi’s Island: Years back, the track went through the island, and Yoob’s belly.
Boss Course-Shroob Statue: A track up through the titanic Princess Shroob statue. Defeat the Princess Shroob sisters, then defeat all the Shroobs to save Peach.
Paper Cup:
Rogueport: This nasty seaside town is one of the busier tracks.
The Moon: This rock we see at night is crazy enough to be its own course.
X-Naut Base: The X-Naut base! Beware of Yuxes, natives, and other things from the game.
Flipside and Flopside: These mirror-image towns make one hectic course.
Shy Guy’s Toy Box: Don’t let this track fool you. It’s not playtime here.
Boss Course-Excess Express: Get from the Rogueport train station (not part of the Rogueport track) to the Poshley Sanctum… But you have to be faster than the train.
Galaxy Cup:
Comet Observatory: The main hub of Mario Galaxy turned into a track.
Beach Bowl Galaxy: Like in the game, but minus the Cyclone Stone.
Ghostly Galaxy: Race through Ghostly Galaxy and avoid Bouldergeist at the end.
Kamella’s Airship Attack: A lot of airships attacking an innocent planet. But you’re busy racing! Whoo!
Loopdeeloop Galaxy: The watery track in the air.
Boss Course-Bowser’s Galaxy Reactor: You start on the bridge to Peach’s Castle and you have to get to the Reactor. You’re Mario, and you have to defeat Bowser, Junior, and Kamella before they get to the Reactor. Luigi will help.
Special Cup:
Figure 8: A figure 8 track, only very hazardous.
Nimbus Land: A track through Mallow’s homeland and his castle! ‘Nuff said.
Star Road: Star Road, Star Haven, Star Hill, and the Dream Depot all in one.
Challenge Dome: The black places from some no-Fludd zones in Super Mario Sunshine.
Challenge Skies: The sky levels from Super Mario Sunshine, AND Wario World.
Boss Course-Rainbow Road: Collect the 3 star coins along Rainbow Road. Trust me, it’s hard.
All Cup:
All of the above all in one cup. Rainbow Road is always last, and Mario Bros. House is always first.
Free Play/Custom Cup:
After you beat a cup, you can play any of its tracks for fun and use options to set up your own custom cups. But after twenty-four hours, the custom cup is gone and you have to make another or just recreate it.

Battle Courses:
Block Fields: The new block stage.
Chocolate River: A long track with a pipe at the end that leads to the start, all along a cocoa river.
Barrel Battlefield: Inside a barrel, there are lots of hazards, and some holes to fall through.
The Puppy’s Den: Battle each other while surviving the giant puppy.
Ricco Harbor: Race along the girders and avoid the sliding tiles as well as Gooper Blooper.
Fire Hazard: A very dangerous and fiery battlefield.
Giant Reactor: Battle on one of Bowser’s reactors.
Battle Types:
Balloon Battle
Shine Thief
Bob-omb Blast
Color Wars: You leave a specified color behind you wherever you go. Race around, and whoever’s color is covering the most space after time’s up, wins. Other racers can cover a previous color up by going over it.
Chain Chomp Tag: Race around and don’t get eaten by the chomp. Whoever survives the longest, wins.
Showoff Survival: Same as Balloon Battle, but with only two balloons instead of three, and you have to pull off a lot of stunts. Whoever lives longer AND pulls off more stunts, wins.
How to Unlock:
Pauline: Beat DK in a free-play race as Mario.
SPM Main Villains: Win any cup in Luigi’s “Mr. L” alternate costume.
Pixls and Partners: Win any cup as Tippi.
SPM Chapter-Specific People: Play as the four heroes and beat their respective cups.
M&L:SS Main Villains: Beat all the starter cups as Mario and Luigi.
Mallow and Geno: Beat all starter cups as a Paper Mario Partner and a Paper Mario 2 Partner.
Mini Mario: Beat Fire Mario as Geno.
Kremling: Beat the Bongo Cup.
Barrel, Metal Fire, and Vitamin Kart: Beat Fire Cup as Mario’s “Fire Mario” alternate costume.
Green Thunder and Mini Brobot: Beat Thunder Cup as Luigi’s “Mr. L” alternate costume.
Bowser Shell and Mini Cruiser: Beat the Koopa Cup as two of Bowser’s costumes.
Airship: Beat Koopa Cup as Bowser Junior, then Kamek.
Barrel Train: Beat Bongo Cup as DK and Diddy.
SPM Villain Character Karts: Unlock the SPM Main Villains.
Star Shell: Unlock the Paper Mario Partners.
Thousand-Year Kart: Unlock the Paper Mario 2 Partners.
SPM Chapter Specific Character Karts: Unlock the SPM Chapter Specific Characters.
Star Roller: Unlock all of Mario’s other karts.
Nimbus Land Bus: Unlock Mallow.

Battle-Ricco Harbor: Win one kind of battle on all the starter Battle Tracks.
Battle-Fire Hazard: Beat all the starter Cups.
Battl- Giant Reactor: Beat Galaxy Cup as Mario and Bowser.
