Bowser Jr's Crush

By Toadlover4ever

At the Koopa Kare daycare, Ms. Allodia, a female Magi koopa, closed the door after talking with the new girl’s mom.

Ms. Allodia: Okay guys, pay attention, we have a new student in this daycare, her name is Isabel.

Bowser Jr. was sitting on the carpet playing with blocks when he saw Isabel; he froze and turned really red. Isabel looked a little like Bowser Jr. himself, with the spiky shell, scales everywhere, and red hair, but he knew that she was not related.

Ms. Allodia: Go on, Isabel, make some friends.

Ms. Allodia noticed Bowser Jr. turning red as Isabel walked toward him. Ms. Allodia rushed toward Bowser Jr. right before Isabel could stop and talk to him.

Ms. Allodia: Bowser Jr! Why are you so red?! Are you sick? Do you want to go to the nurse?

Bowser Jr: no...

Before Bowser Jr. could say another word, Ms Allodia dragged him to the nurse. It was almost recess when the nurse brought Bowser Jr. back.

Nurse: Nothing’s wrong with him.

Ms. Allodia: Thank you. (turning to the kids) Okay, time to go outside!

Everyone ran to the playground. Bowser Jr. sat on the swings watching Isabel and her new Koopa friend, Safire, playing on the jungle gym. When it was snacktime, Isabel went up to Bowser Jr. with a cookie in hand.

Fiana (a Koopa Troopa): Oh my gosh! She talking to Bowser Jr!

Safire: That’s Isabel, the new girl.

Isabel: Want a cookie?

Bowser Jr: (blushing) Ummm...

Bowser jr. took the cookie and went off.

Isabel: Hmm...

A few days later, after Bowser jr. came home from daycare, he decided on a plan to impress Isabel. He sneaked into Wendy O. Koopa’s room and grabbed a handful of diamonds, rings, gems, and glitter. He made those into a necklace.

Bowser Jr: Oh boy! When she sees this she’ll have to love me!!!

The next day at daycare, Bowser Jr. slipped a note on Isabel’s cubby. The note said:

Meet me on the playground under the slide at recess.
I have a surprise for U!

Bowser Jr. remembered not to mention his name, or else the surprise would be ruined.

At recess, Bowser jr. was waiting by the slide. As Isabel came closer and closer, Bowser Jr. got shyer and shyer – so shy that he left his necklace hanging there with a note:

Tomorrow morning, look in your cubby.

After recess and lunch, Bowser Jr. went to the painting station. From his seat he could see Isabel. He painted her and it came out beautiful. He painted his name really tiny and blurry to leave a clue. He hi the painting until the end of the day. When everyone else had left, Bowser Jr. placed the painting in Isabel’s cubby for her to find the next day.

Days later, Bowser Jr. had enough of hiding! He planned to ask Isabel if she liked him or not. Bowser jr. started talking to Isabel a lot throughout the day. He found out that Isabel’s favorite color was purple, her favorite food was cupcakes, she loved to jump rope and play baseball, and she liked crafts and artwork. At recess they were walking together and stopped at the top of the slide. He was ready to ask the final question.

Bowser Jr: Ummm... Isabel...?

Isabel: What is it?

Bowser Jr: Ummm. Do... you... like me?

Isabel smiled, then hugged Bowser Jr.

Isabel: Yes! I do!!! I knew you made the necklace because your sister, Wendy, has those! And the painting, I knew you were such an artist! All of those things were lovely! I love you!

Bowser jr. blushed. Then Isabel grabbed him and they both went down the slide. Holding hands, they both went back inside and drew pretty pictures of each other.
